Budget-Friendly LVP Flooring Installation in The Woodlands: A Panther Creek Case Study
Some of our clients are looking for budget-friendly ways to update their flooring, and this Panther Creek, The Woodlands home is a great example of how that's possible.
The home had recently been listed for sale and came with brand new tile on the first floor and carpet on the stairs and second floor. The buyers loved the location, but not the flooring. They didn't want the tile, and with three small children, carpet just wasn't practical for their family. They knew they wanted LVP flooring throughout the home, but they also had a budget in mind.
Our solution was simple: rather than demolishing the existing tile, we installed the new LVP flooring directly over it. We then removed the carpet from the stairs and second floor and installed matching LVP throughout. This approach saved our clients thousands of dollars by avoiding unnecessary demolition.
There was one exception. The entry tile had to come out, since the front door sits low enough that it wouldn't clear the added height of tile plus new LVP on top. It was a small, quick fix, done in a single day, and it made sure the final result was seamless from the front door all the way through the home.
